Broadly speaking, the kinds of personal data our Associations holds can be categorized into the following :
- Professional certifications and records which include proof of qualifications, qualifying examination records; statements, returns, information, notifications and professional indemnity records provided by data subjects in relation to their practices (all of these may be local or overseas);
- Membership records which include personal data in applications for membership and records for other training courses, seminars, workshops and other activities held by our Association;
- Complaints, investigations, disciplinary and regulatory actions records which include personal data collected in relation to complaints received by the Association, compliance checks, inspections, interventions, investigations, enforcement actions and regulatory activities taken by our Association;
- Our Association’s own personnel records which include personal data in the resumes, recruitment data, employment particulars, details of salary, payments, benefits, performance appraisals, disciplinary matters, leave and sickness records, Mandatory Provident Fund scheme records and records of agents and contractors;
- Other miscellaneous records which include enquiries from the media and non-members and related communications; and personal data held in minutes and records of meetings.
